A group of volunteers made a "curtain appointment" with 16 elderly people living alone: open the curtains at 7:30 in the morning and close the curtains at 18:10 in the evening. Volunteers shuttle in the community every day. If the curtains of the elderly are drawn, the volunteers will be relieved; if not, they will immediately go to check.

   This is a small thing, but it warms a lot of people. Some of these elderly people living alone have children who are not around, while others have children who are sick and unable to take care of them. Volunteers patrol the community every day, caring for the elderly, chatting with the elderly to relieve boredom, helping with haircuts and cleaning, adding a little warmth to the elderly's later life. As soon as the curtains are drawn, what is opened is a sense of reassurance and care. Small acts of care convey the true feelings between people.
